Just came across a post on Craiglist for a product/service that I always thought should exist - well, now it does! Personal/Private Pet Park for your balcony or condo common area. Parks4Pets.com

Okay, I have a photo of Sophia and I using the "K9 Cruiser" on my bike yesterday. Check the photo section for an album called "Neat Ideas for Iggy Living".

You can find out detailed information of how it works here: K9 Cruiser
The web site says $45 plus shipping, but I got at a local bike shop for $20 (Aaron's Bike Shop on California Avenue SW in West Seattle).

As the temperature begins to drop, I was sorting through things to find a way to keep The Pack warm without pushing the thermostat too high or curtailing their walks too much. Here are a few of my favorites. My taste tends to run to things that benefit Rescue and small businesses. I'm pretty new to this "keeping IGs warm and dry," so I'd be very much interested other suggestions.

These fleece lounge coats are one of my favorites Fleece Lounge Coats They aren't full coats, but more like putting on a sweater at home to keep warm.

I pretty much like anything made my Grandma Frankio. For going out, I really like the Huddle Coats

I also really like the water-resistant coats from DoodleBug Duds. Megan gave them to me as a present when I moved up here and they are just great. DoodleBug Coats Be sure when you order to say you are fitting a sighthound--they'll tailor the coats differently. Bertie's was "off the rack" without the sighthound modification, and it is too wide in the back--yeah, even on Bertie. For Letta and Maddy I sent in the measurements and they fit perfectly.

Cheers,
Alice

Calvin can vouge for the fleece lounge coat, he's had it for a couple years now and loves wearing it! Its warm, easy to wash, not restricting and he looks handsome in it! Brett calls it his "smoking jacket". thanks for the suggestions Alice! I think a couple of huddle coats are in the mail! I love ordering from that site, they are usually shipped fast, the price includes shipping and the clothes are made for Iggys!
