Bring your IG and come out to play...

Our next meetup will be an indoor playdate on Sunday, March 8th from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm at A Dog’s Day Out (ADDO) in Vienna. Here is the link to their website for directions and more info on the facility: http://adogsdayout.co....

For this meetup, we will have a large play area for two hours. The area is enclosed with some play equipment and a Tuflek rubber floor, which is good for grip and does not absorb liquids. We will be responsible for cleaning up our own messes, but they have plastic bags, trash receptacles, and mops there.

REQUIREMENTS:

To attend a meetup at ADDO, you must bring the following items to the meetup for your first visit:
- Completed ADDO Owner Agreement (one-page form, only one required per owner)
- Completed Pet Profile (one required per dog)
- Copy of vaccine record (invoice/vet receipt is fine) containing current rabies, distemper and bordatella
- No pet evaluation is necessary.

This is a one-time thing for each member's first visit to the facility. From this point forward, your file will be on record and they will just check you in. Also, if you decide to board or do doggie daycare at ADDO, your paperwork would already be complete.

I know this might seem like a lot of paperwork, but they give us a huge play area with open air, high ceilings, and a full two hours, etc. and once you have filled out the paperwork, you don't need to again.

Both forms can be found in the “Files” section of our website: http://itgreyhound.me....

Looking forward to seeing you all on March 8th.

Are there motels/hotels that are dog friendly in that area?

Who attended?

  • 8 attendees
    •  No chairs were set up. (except for me) Last month the gathering in White Flint was far out well.
    •  Everyone was very friendly and welcoming to our timid little Nelly, both the people and the dogs. These experiences will be so good for her in terms of learning to socialize and enjoy running around with fellow IGs. They are such beautiful and loving animals. It will be nice for us to get to know other IG owners, too. We will definitely be back. Look forward to an outdoor venue.
