About The NYC Italian Greyhound Playgroup

Our mission is to provide a way for Italian Greyhound enthusiasts in NYC to participate in social gatherings, seminars, events and discussion forums.

We plan to be connected with the Animal Haven Shelter & Sanctuary and to have at least some of our meetups include donations to this group.

Members of our group should be committed to actively participating and helping to make these events successful. Part of active participation is rsvping 'yes' only if you plan on attending. RSVPing 'yes' and not showing up will result in removal from the group. Please understand that in order to plan events (that is reserve space, attract guest speakers, etc.) we need to have confirmed attendance in advance.

Dog related business owners are welcome to inquire about joining our group for the purpose of keeping members informed of relevant happenings. But, we reserve the right to limit these memberships and request that any business related postings are sent to the group organizer prior to being posted to the group. Please do not post ads for dogs for sale.

Members of the media are welcome to join this group in order to be made aware of our events for the purpose of including it in their media outlet(s).
